CD Authoring
How wonderful to be able to hand out CD's to your frinds, family, or even prospective employers . . . CD's that will act as a professional commercial CD does. CD's that automatically open up an impressive splash screen with 3D buttons and links - as soon as they are popped into the drive.
Well you can do this !! It just takes a bit of time and patience. One thing, though, for CD authoring (barring the professional utilities which cost over $1,000) - there is one program that shines above the rest . . .
MMbuild (Multimedia Builder) - available for a modest fee (well, well worth it - and I must add that I am not affiliated with them) at http://www.mediachance.com . I have tried several others, including Handi CD, and AutoStart, but this is the only one that works, and works well. It allows "autostart" and has powerful yet simple scripting capabilities. You create your CD and can test it fully before burning.
