Virtually everyone uses shorthand for the commands. The router will accept partial commands, and fills in the rest for you. All of the commands which allow the <TAB> auto-fill method, will also allow you to simply type the short version of the command and hit <Enter>
The following is a list of just a few of the many popular command line shortcuts. Some, such as “con”, can mean two different things, and only the rest of the command or the syntax lets the router know what command you are actually typing :
