Blu-Laser and Blu-ray

New HD (High Density) standards that are in furious stages of development.  It will accomodate 23 billion bytes (21.4 GB), which is five time as much data as a DVD-5 disc at 4.7 billion bytes (4.38 GB).

The HDTV signal is five ( 5 ) times bigger or wider , that is why the picture is so much better .The video stream is 5 times denser, there is 5 times more detail on your screen and only a HDTV set will do justice to the video stream with its higher resolution .Because the HDTV bandwidth takes up the space of 5 analog or digital channels what do you think happens to your 150 channels of Cable TV ?? Now you have 30 channels of HDTV basic cable. And what do you think will happen to 4.7 Gb movies from Hollywood when they are re-issued in the HDTV format ???? There will be a Blu-Laser 23 GB disc waiting for them. Do you think it is just a coincidence that 5 times 4.7 gb`s equals 23 gb`s , the new Blu-laser standard???
