Registry - How to Reinitialize it without a Reboot

After you have made changes to the registry, normally Windows makes you reboot before they take effect.  The workaround is :

1. press Ctrl + Alt + Delete to bring up "Task Manager"
2. choose the "Processes" tab
3. locate the "explorer.exe" process, highlight it and click "End Process"
4. select 'File -> New Task'
5. enter 'explorer' and click OK
