Can't Delete Registry Entries - the Fix

As you know, certain files are locked during normal Windows operation.  This also applies to some opf your registry entries.  But this is done by the install package - not by an absolute necessity by Windows !!

If an entry in the registry cannot be deleted - usually the permissions have been cleared to prevent tampering.  To delete it:

  1. right-click on the entry
  2. select permissions
  3. check the Full Control "allow" box.
